Outcome of the discussion on the organization
Suggestions for improvements:
- Longer coffee breaks to allow more discussion.
- Organise a minibus.
- General overview talks on the different main projects in TOK.
- Appoint a small scientific programme committee to select the oral contributions to avoid a crowded agenda.
- Encourage contributions on open and challenging problems.
Appreciated:
- ย Holding the poster sessions and the general discussion in the Rittersaal.
- A short presentation of each poster before the poster session.
Organization
Breakfast buffet starts at 8:00 am.ย
Lunch is served at the table at 12:00.ย
Coffee break with cake is served in the afternoon till 15:30.ย
Dinner buffet starts at 18:00.ย
Checkout must be done before 9:00 Friday.
Scientific Programme
Posters: On the day of our arrival, Wednesday 7 May, there will be two poster sections in the Rittersaal.ย
Portrait: 1,18m x 1,46m
General Discussion on Wednesday. Communications and definition of the topics of the breakout sessions on Friday after lunch.
Regular talks: 25' + 5' each on Thursday and Friday.ย
Breakout session: On Friday after lunch.
Social Events
For dinner on May 7th (the day of our arrival) we will organize a picnic
on the nearby Lรคmmerberg hill (just a 10 minute walk from the castle).
We'll have beer garden tables set up at Lรคmmerberg and,
of course, a keg of local beer brewed with local hops.
From Lรคmmerberg we can enjoy views of Arzberg and its quarry,
the Main-Danube Canal and, if we stay long enough, the Aquarid meteor shower.
Each participant brings food and soft drinks from the castle buffet.
The cost for the guide, service (tables) and beer is estimated to be around โฌ5 per person.
If there is any left over, we will donate it to the castle as a tip, as we did last time.

If you are not coming, dinner will be at the castle as usual.
It goes without saying that you are welcome to bring along any board games or card games, as well as musical instruments.
Of course, if the weather is bad, we will eat inside the castle as usual.
This will be decided a few days in advance based on the weather forecast.
