Hotels in Garching
Hotels in Garching are relatively close. They are generally within a 30-minute walking distance. Garching and the research campus where MPE is located are directly connected by the U-bahn line U6, separated by only one stop --Garching is the second last stop and Garching-Forschungszentrum is the last stop. Hotels at the Garching town center are, for example, Hotel Konig Ludwig II (webpage), Soulmade (webpage) or Hoyacker Hof (webpage).
Hotels in Garching-Hochbrück
Garching-Hochbrück is the second-to-last stop of the U6 U-bahn line towards Garching-Forschungszentrum (the campus where MPE is located). Two hotels, Motel One (webpage) and Ibis (webpage), are directly in front of the station.
Hotels in Munich
There are plenty of hotels in Munich. We recommend finding accommodation close to the U6 U-bahn line. In particular, the neighbourhood of Schwabing (between the U-bahn stops Universität and Munchener Freiheit) also has many cafes and restaurants.
