"From Atoms to Structures:
A Multiscale Approach Using Diffraction, Scattering and Tomography"
The workshop is intended for graduate students, PhD candidates and early-career scientists specialising in geosciences, crystallography, solid-state research (in chemistry and physics) and materials science. The workshop will introduce participants to the fundamentals of a wide range of advanced structural characterisation techniques and their key application areas. Topics covered will range from local atomic-scale structure analysis to bulk material characterisation, and will include spectroscopic, scattering, and imaging methods using neutrons, electrons, and X-rays.
One Special Session will be related to Career Planning, including working in Industry, initiating a Startup and more.
Workshop Fee: The workshop fee of 80 € includes coffee breaks and lunch. Travel and accommodation are arranged individually.
Workshop start: Wednesday March 10 at 1:00 pm,
Workshop end: March 12 at 1:00 pm
