Welcome to the PHDS Annual Academy 2026 registration page!
The 8th IMPRS-PHDS Annual Academy takes place from 9 - 11 December 2026 at the MPIDR in Rostock. This year’s academy will again focus on students’ research presentations and networking activities. All students will be given the opportunity to present themselves and their research to our network and receive feedback from faculty, alumni and from their peers. Our alumni will again share their experiences in a designated session. As always, we will allow ample time for informal discussions, socializing, and networking. As always, the Academy will thrive on active participation, and everyone should be actively involved.
Our 2026 Academy will be an onsite event with a limited virtual option. Conditions for in-person and virtual participants will not be the same. In particular, in-person participants will have better conditions and virtual participants will have worse conditions. It is likely that we will stream the talks and presentations, while participation in the networking activities will only be available to on-site attendees. We therefore strongly recommend that you attend in person.
