Description

We are back this month with an especially relevant discussion topic: CBG File Server Basics and Project Space Organisation. Led by Stephan Janosch, this session explains the basics of the MPI-CBG file server. You will learn what is behind a project space and how to use these project spaces well. We will also answer the question, how to get an overview about your accessible project spaces. Finally we will sort out the question, how to handle very big data and how to proceed, when you run out of free space.

No laptop is needed for this workshop.

Coffee and Bytes, hosted by our Scientific Computing Facility, will be a casual forum where we will give an overview of different scientific computational topics and trends (Git, Containers, Visualization in R, and many more!), all in “byte”-size portions :) Even better, the presentation will be followed by a discussion over coffee and snacks (AKA bytes)
