Description

We are kicking off this year with a discussion on a recent tool: Microscopy Nodes - developed to enable the visualization of biological data in the software, Blender! In this discussion, we will have a live demo on how you can use Microscopy Nodes to import 3D data (Fluorescence and Electron Microscopy!) and quickly create figure-ready images and videos.

Coffee and Bytes, hosted by our Scientific Computing Facility, will be a casual forum where we will give an overview of different scientific computational topics and trends (Git, Containers, Visualization in R, and many more!), all in “byte”-size portions :) Even better, the presentation will be followed by a discussion over coffee and snacks (AKA bytes)
