Dear Postdocs and Research Associates at CBG and CSBD,
We are delighted to invite you to the 2026 Annual Retreat, which will take place from Monday, the 11th, to Wednesday, the 13th, of May at the Cottonina Hotel & Mineral SPA Resort, Poland. An organized bus will depart at 7:30 a.m. on Monday to take us to the retreat location, with the return journey scheduled for Wednesday afternoon.
This year's retreat will focus on interdisciplinary communication and mental health.
We are pleased to announce that MPI-CBG alumni Dr. Olga Vvedenskaya will give a talk on mental health in science, with a particular emphasis on burnout and imposter syndrome.
Together with Dr. Anna Frangou we offer an engaging workshop on interdisciplinary communication.
The evenings will feature a range of team‑building activities, such as a dive into publication communication with Dr. Michele Marass. The retreat is an excellent opportunity to connect with colleagues and potentially spark exciting collaborations.
Please note that this year's retreat will take place outside Germany. Therefore, do not forget to bring a valid form of documentation in case of a border control.
