The Labor serves as a forum for the discussion of current research projects by doctoral and postdoctoral fellows and scientific staff of the Institute. It offers all researchers the opportunity to present projects at different stages and in various formats, including work-in-progress, dry runs for conference papers, thesis chapters, as well as to discuss pre-circulated written work. Possible languages for the presentation and discussion are English, German, and Italian.
The Labor is organized and moderated by the postdoctoral scientific assistants of both departments. Technical assistance is provided by the doctoral fellows. The Labor takes place once a month and is open to all Institute members and staff. As the format is not fixed, the organizers welcome creative proposals for presenting individual and collaborative research projects.
