Abstract: FSI carries out observations in two narrow bands of the EUV spectrum centered on the 30.4 nm line of He II and on the 17.4 nm line of Fe X. It has a field of view of 3.6 degrees, which allows observations of the corona up to 7Rs when at aphelion, about twice further than was previously possible at these wavelengths. FSI includes a movable occulting disk in order to reduce the amount of instrumental stray-light to a minimum. We present the in-flight calibration of the corresponding data. Comparison with near-simultaneous observations from other EUV imagers confirm that FSI has excellent stray-light rejection properties. An improved version of FSI, EWOC /JEDI, will fly on ESA's VIGIL mission.
