The Dresden Biopolis Career Day 2025 is designed to inspire and inform participants about a broad range of career paths - both inside and outside academia. Whether you aim to become a professor, a patent attorney, an editor, an entrepreneur, or pursue another path, your PhD and postdoctoral experience - along with the diverse skills you’ve developed - provide a solid foundation for many exciting roles.
You’ll hear from alumni and other professionals about careers beyond academia, and gain academic insights through a panel with local professors. Parallel workshops will offer practical advice on job applications, CV writing, and career planning. Plus, meet company representatives on-site to learn about job opportunities and make valuable connections.

Registration for the event is now open! Spots are limited and priority will be given to PhD students and Postdocs from TUD (CMCB, PoL) and MPI-CBG, including participants from the DIGS-ILS and IMPRS-CellDevoSys programs. Other staff members are also very welcome to attend, space permitting.

Workshop registration opens on August 11. Participation in workshops requires registration for the event. Spots in workshops will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
