Thur, 09 January, 10:00-15:30, onsite in Greifswald, SR1, 10:00-12:00 with zoom connection to Garching

Two colleagues from the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) will present the Julia programming language.

The first part, which will also be broadcast to Garching, will provide general information about Julia. Subsequently, JuliaHEP will be introduced and "Julia in action" will be presented with an HPC application from the field of particle physics.

Only in Greifswald: After the lunch break we will work directly with Julia. A tutorial and handons will be presented. Questions can be asked or projects discussed in a workshop atmosphere.
