The beginners "Introduction to Bash" is an interactive seminar with a mixture of lectures, life-coding & hand-on exercises covering the following topics:

• introduction to the shell
• navigating & manipulating files and directories
• important Bash commands and their syntax
• working with variables
• writing basic shell scripts

 

Level: Beginner

Who can participate / Capacity: the course is open to all CBG staff / 15 places are available

Prerequisites/requirements: Please bring your own laptop
