Workshop: Data Visualization with R

This workshop will explore how to create publication-quality graphics using ggplot2 and dplyr packages in R.

 
Objectives

At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Manipulate their data with dplyr before plotting.
• Understand the basic ggplot2 syntax and use it to produce most common types of plots.
• Pick the best chart type for their data.

 

Who can participate / Capacity: CBG and CSBD members. 15 places.

Prerequisites

• Basic coding experience in in R
• Familiary with data frames in R, including importing tabular data
• Understanding of intoductory statistics
