DESCRIPTION:Become a member of “Friends of CBG”\nIn June this year\, t
 he new association “Freunde der Wissenschaft in Dresden-Johannstadt” o
 r short “Friends of CBG” was founded. Its purpose is to support MPI-CB
 G both ideologically and materially\, including strengthening CBG’s netw
 ork within the research and scientific community in Dresden Johannstadt.
  \n\n\n \n\n\nThe idea is to reach this  through events that facilitate
  the exchange of practical experience and scientific findings\; through th
 e promotion of CBG’s public relations efforts\; and through the support 
 of early-career researchers by organizing lectures\, seminars\, conference
 s\, award ceremonies\, and the activities of MPI-CBG alumni. And everyone
  of you can contribute to this\, by becoming a member of “Friends of CB
 G”\, and by contributing a small membership fee in support. \n \n\n\nM
 embers have the right to vote as well as the right to stand for and vote i
 n elections to the Executive Board. Members are also invited to public lec
 tures or events at CBG. At the moment\, the Executive Board consists of th
 e Chair (André Nadler)\, a Vice Chair (Ali Mahmoud)\, the Treasurer (Kary
 me Garzón Mahmud) \, who together form the Executive Committee\, and two 
 additional board members (Stephan Grill and Agnes Toth-Petroczy). \n \n
