Become a member of “Friends of CBG”

In June this year, the new association “Freunde der Wissenschaft in Dresden-Johannstadt” or short “Friends of CBG” was founded. Its purpose is to support MPI-CBG both ideologically and materially, including strengthening CBG’s network within the research and scientific community in Dresden Johannstadt. 

 

The idea is to reach this  through events that facilitate the exchange of practical experience and scientific findings; through the promotion of CBG’s public relations efforts; and through the support of early-career researchers by organizing lectures, seminars, conferences, award ceremonies, and the activities of MPI-CBG alumni. And everyone of you can contribute to this, by becoming a member of “Friends of CBG”, and by contributing a small membership fee in support. 

 

Members have the right to vote as well as the right to stand for and vote in elections to the Executive Board. Members are also invited to public lectures or events at CBG. At the moment, the Executive Board consists of the Chair (André Nadler), a Vice Chair (Ali Mahmoud), the Treasurer (Karyme Garzón Mahmud) , who together form the Executive Committee, and two additional board members (Stephan Grill and Agnes Toth-Petroczy).
