 esearch data your research data is important: for reproducibility and cont
 inuity of research\, for sharing and publishing research results\, or for 
 defending research results in case of misconduct allegations. Research dat
 a management and high-quality data benefit the scientific progress\, its i
 mpact and reputation.\nContent: The workshop introduces the basics of rese
 arch data management as data life cycle\, RDM plans\, the FAIR principles\
 , and give practical insight into how to document\, store\, archive and sh
 are your research\, and why this is important. It will also give hands-on
  experience on the tools which are used at MPI-CBG for documentation\, and
  insight into the IT infrastructure which is provided to ensure that your 
 data are safe and accessible. \nMethods: Case studies\, group work\, plen
 ary discussions and background information. Hands-on work & practical intr
 oduction to the ELN labfolder. \nWhat you need for the workshop: Your lap
