DESCRIPTION:This is a course organised in collaboration between TUD Facult
 y of Biology and MPI-CBG that qualifies the participants with a suitable a
 cademic degree (i.e. biology) to carry out animal experiments (function A 
 and D) and in combination with three to five years of experience using exp
 erimental animals to also act as a project leader in animal experimentatio
 n (function B).\nAlso non-academic staff (i.e. technicians) may participat
 e the course as it can be used for obtaining the so-called “Ausnahmegene
 hmigung”.\nThe following modules will be provided in the course:\nBasic 
 Module Theory Lectures 26.8.-1.9.2026 (~30h) - compulsory (this or equiva
 lent course from recent years) for all participants to be able to join the
  Species Specific Module(s)\nSpecies Specific PRACTICALS 2.9.-4.9.2026\n 
 \nMOUSE (2.-3.9.2026): Wednesday full day\, Thursday half a day (morning)
 \n \nFISH (Medaka & Zebrafish) (3.-4.9.2026): Thursday half a day (after
 noon)\, Friday full day\n \nCourse Language: English\nCost: 50€ / parti
 cipant for the Basic Module Theory\, and 50€ / participant for each addi
 tional Species Specific Module.\nThe Basic Module Theory is limited to max
 . 30 participants (capacity limit of the room).\nSpecies Specific Module(s
 ) are historically often overbooked\, and registrations are accepted first
  come first served as only limited number of students can be taken. Priori
 ty is given to active/prospective BMS users. All registrations require man
