How to get to Dresden?
Dresden has two main train stations:
Dresden Neustadt - this is in walking distance from the “Neustadt” area
Dresden Hauptbahnhof - this is in walking distance from the city centre “Altstadt”
Tickets for the German railway can be bought on the website https://int.bahn.de/en
Nearby airports are Dresden, Leipzig Halle, Berlin and Prague.
How to get to the conference venue?
The conference takes place at the auditorium in the main building of the Max Planck Institute MPI-CBG. The address is Pfotenhauerstraße 108, 01307 Dresden, Germany
The conference venue can be easily reached via public transport (see picture below).
Bus and tram tickets can be purchased via card (machine on the tram or yellow ticket booth at the stop). Some nearby bus and tram stops are:
- Bus line 62 stops at Johannstadt
- Bus line 64 stops at Pfotenhauerstrasse
- Tram lines 6 and 12 stop at Königsheimplatz
