Description
The RECODE (Reactor neutrino COherent scattering Detection Experiment) adopts PPC germanium detectors to measure the CEvNS process of reactor neutrinos. The experimental site is located at the Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in Zhejiang Province, China. In the RECODE project, two experimental sites at different distances from the reactor core will be set up to carry out joint measurements. The far site is 22 m away from the 3.4 GWth reactor core, and the near site is 11 m away. This design endows RECODE with advantages such as a high neutrino flux (>10^13 ν/cm2/s) and reduced systematic errors via joint measurements. In this talk, I will introduce the status and prospects of the RECODE experiment. The ground test results on detector performance and shielding capability will also be presented.
