What is included with registration?

Registration includes access to all scientific sessions, coffee breaks, conference materials, and guided laboratory tours at the Max Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics. Accommodation and transport expenses are not included.

During registration, participants will have the option to make a payment to cover three on-site lunches. As the conference venue is located outside the city centre, there are no nearby dining options unless you travel back to the city or bring your own food, so participants are strongly encouraged to reserve meals through the conference organization.

Travel Grants for Early-Career Researchers

(Deadline closed)

Travel grants are available for early-career researchers attending the conference and presenting a contributed talk or poster. The number of grants to be awarded has not yet been determined. Applicants must submit a short motivation letter as part of the travel grant application.

Please note that travel grants are provided strictly as a reimbursement of eligible travel and accommodation expenses. Selected participants are therefore required to cover all travel and accommodation costs upfront. Reimbursements will be processed after the conference in accordance with the COST reimbursement policy.

The submission of a poster or an oral presentation, as well as applying for a travel grant, does not instantly guarantee the receipt of a grant. Applications will be evaluated by the Organising Committee, taking into account factors such as age, country of origin (with priority given to participants from ITC countries), and gender balance as well the motivation letter. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of the travel grant selection by March.

Subject to the availability of residual funds, additional travel grants may be awarded after the conference. The allocation of any such grants will also follow the COST reimbursement rules and eligibility criteria and cannot be guaranteed in advance.
