 al career development conversation between you and your supervisor is a ce
 ntral element\, this is why we have developed special guidelines for the c
 areer conversation (https://www.ipp.mpg.de/4737339/conversation). \nTwice
  a year\, we offer mini-workshops 'Career conversations'\, so that you can
  go into your career conversation being optimally prepared.\nCareer conver
 sations are important because:\n\nSelf-Reflection and Clarity: They provi
 de an opportunity to evaluate your long-term career goals\, helping you re
 flect on your strengths\, weaknesses\, and interests\, and thereby clarify
  the direction you want to take.\nProfessional Development: Regular discu
 ssions can help identify skills that need further development\, allowing y
 ou to plan targeted training or learning opportunities.\nFeedback and Guid
 ance: Career conversations offer personalized feedback from mentors or pe
 ers\, which can guide you in navigating academic or industry challenges ef
 fectively.\nProactive Career Planning: By discussing your career path act
 ively\, you can decide which steps you want to take during your postdoc-ti
 me at IPP.\n\n \nThe mini-workshops will be held by Matthias Knott\, our 
 head of HR. The expected duration of the mini-workshop is one hour\, but
