The workshop focuses on determining nuclear radii for medium to heavy nuclei and related topics. We aim to bring together theorists from nuclear physics, atomic physics, and QED, alongside experimentalists working with diverse techniques such as muonic atoms, scattering, and isotope shifts. The goal is to bridge these fields and methodologies, highlight current challenges and new ideas, and continue building a broad community towards improved nuclear radii.
The workshop consits of session and introductory presentation to the main topics. A goal of the workshop is the connection of the scientists of the different fields. Besides the presentations there will be a poster session. The type of contribution will be confirmed after the registration is closed. Addtionally, there is the opportunitty to visit the MPIK on-site experimental facilities. Furthermore social activities are planned, too.
