DESCRIPTION:This is a course organised in collaboration between TUD Facult
 y of Biology and MPI-CBG that qualifies the participants with a suitable a
 cademic degree (i.e. biology) to carry out animal experiments (function A 
 and D) and in combination with five years of experience using experimental
  animals to also act as a project leader in animal experimentation (functi
 on B).\nAlso non-academic staff (i.e. technicians) may participate the cou
 rse as it can be used for obtaining the so-called “Ausnahmegenehmigung
 ”.\nThe following modules will be provided in the course:\n- Basic Modul
 e Theory (11.-15.8.2025) (~30h) - compulsory (this or equivalent course f
 rom recent years) for all participants to be able to join the Species Spec
 ific Module(s)\nSpecies Specific PRACTICAL 18.-22.8.2025\nModules takes pl
 ace twice (pending enough registrations)\, 1.5 days mouse and 1 day rat :\
 n- (Monday full day\, Tuesday morning mouse\, Tuesday afternoon and Wednes
 day morning rat) \n- (Wednesday afternoon and Thursday whole day mouse\, 
 Friday whole day rat)\n \nCourse Language: English\nCost: 50€ / partici
 pant for the Basic Module Theory\, and 50€ / participant for each additi
 onal Species Specific Module.\nThe Basic Module Theory is limited to max. 
 30 participants (capacity limit of the room).\nSpecies Specific Module(s) 
 are historically often overbooked\, and registrations are accepted first c
 ome first served as only limited number of students can be taken. Priority
  is given to active/prospective BMS users. Also\, we initially limit the a
 mount of participants to max. two per lab\, to allow equal opportunities f
