MPI-CBG Animal Facility Visiting Week

Have you been interested in visiting the animal facility for some time? Or maybe you've never been in contact with Biomedical Services (BMS) and didn't know much about the MPI-CBG Animal Facility? Now is your chance to find out more!

We cordially invite you to participate in guided tours of the Animal Facility and the Fly Unit from May 19-22, 2025. You will have the opportunity to gain insight into the work of the Biomedical Services (BMS) staff and the care of our major laboratory species: mice, zebrafish, and quail. The Fly Unit also looks forward to giving you an insight into the care and work with flies as an animal model.

If we have piqued your interest, please sign up quickly for one of our guided tours on the species of your choice. The number of participants per tour is limited, so don't hesitate to register.

Registration is open until Friday, May 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Each tour begins in the atrium at the reception desk. We'll pick you up from there. Please note that visits are only possible as part of the tours offered.
