Description

With the new VIPER-GPU supercomputer of the MPG which employs a large number of AMD MI300A GPUs, the MPCDF in collaboration with AMD and Eviden offers an online course on this new architecture in combination with a hackathon where existing GPU codes can be ported to the MI300A together with the experts from the MPCDF, AMD and Eviden.

This workshop is similar to the one given end of 2024. This time it focuses on the VIPER-GPU system with the software stack there and with a reservation to test code modifications during the hackathon.
