Welcome to the PHDS Graduate Workshop registration page!
The IMPRS-PHDS Graduate Workshop is designed to bring together PHDS students without supervisors and faculty and will focus on student presentations as in previous years. All PHDS students will have the opportunity to present progress reports, research outlines, and preliminary and advanced dissertation work in the form of a paper presentation (oral presentation) or a poster presentation in an informal setting. We invite students to present research updates at various stages of completion. Students will receive feedback from fellow students and PHDS coordinators and possibly PHDS alumni if they wish to participate. All students are strongly encouraged to give a paper or poster presentation, but this is not a requirement: participation in the workshop is welcome even without a presentation.
We will also offer one or two educational sessions on topics of interest to PHDS students (e.g. Career Planing / Interview Skills / Science Communication).
We would like to include PHDS alumni if they are interested and have time. This year, we offer our alumni the opportunity to introduce themselves and their current work in a short talk.
The workshop will thrive on active participation, and everyone should be actively involved – as in the earlier years.
