Description
The International Festival of Scientific and Educational Film was held at the University of Padua in collaboration with the Venice Film Festival between 1956 and 1975. In this meeting, Aberdeen-based film and visual culture scholar Silvia Casini, asks how the format of the festival spatialized knowledge along the two axes of wonder and evidence to challenge or reinforce epistemic boundaries between disciplines, expertise, institutions, and audiences.
