Description

With the new VIPER-GPU supercomputer of the MPG which employs a large number of AMD MI300A GPUs, the MPCDF in collaboration with AMD and Eviden offers an online course on this new architecture in combination with a hackathon where existing GPU codes can be ported to the MI300A together with the experts from the MPCDF, AMD and Eviden.

In this workshop, experts from AMD and Eviden will focus on the how to port a code from NVIDIA GPUs to MI300A. Knowledge of GPU programming in general is a prerequisite. For the hackathon, participants can bring their own GPU-codes and analyze/optimize them with the help of the experts.
